This is a rather small but cosy restaurant. The decorations are quite pleasing. Simple but tempting menu. We got advice from the wonderful staff. Decided upon starters only and all was delicious. Excellent vine. Ended with dessert and coffee. In all a perfect evening and highly recommended.

Library Bistro/bar Keflavik is one of the coolest bistros in Iceland. Trendy décor by the Italian company Dialma Brown puts the restaurant squarely on the map as hip, go-to eating establishment. We offer extensive menu with reasonable prices. Library Bist
Visited Library Bistro/Bar twice during a few days in KeflavÃk in April 2019.First trip was with a group of five on a slow Thursday night. That ended up in an argument with the cashier about the bill which was overpricing us and at the same time he was not able to give us a breakdown of the bill for the group. Very strange to say the least. Willing to give the place a second chance, we arranged a second trip on a packed Saturday night - service was super slow and in fact the slowest I´ve ever experienced in any restaurant around the world. Overall the food was ok but given the super slow service and the strange attitude from the cashier/bartender on Thursday night I can not recommend this place. Which is sad because the place looks nice.

Röstin Restaurant is located 20 meters from the shore with fantastic ocean view and a balcony. There are two lighthouses on the premises and a museum. We serve Seafood, quality hamburgers, Piri-Piri chicken, Icelandic lamb, Fish Soup, Icelandic Meat Soup
I visited this restaurant with my mom and sister and was completely blown away (quite literally, it was a VERY windy day, lol). This cute spot sits on top of a museum full of old boats, engines, radios, and much more. The ambience and style of the restaurant was absolutely lovely, and the overlook of the ocean was gorgeous. The fish (fresh from the bay 30 meters away) and chips was the best Iâve tasted during my travels, and the hamburger my sister ordered was also divine. The best part of the experience was when the owner, Siggi, walked up to us after we finished our meals and told stories of the history of the village and viking settlers. He told us lore about the northern lights making men fall in love and about the ancient lighthouses just meters from the restaurant. He said if you climb to the top of the lighthouse (which has a cafe of its own), make a wish, and write it down, it will come true. The most moving part of his tales was that heâs been trying to build up the surrounding town because it has been struggling recently. Itâs definitely one of the less common attractions in KeflavÃk, but it is well worth the visit for the delicious food and intriguing history and charm.
