Lots of helathy choices served with big smiles in a kind of strange format. I was looking for a light dinner after a massive lunch and decided to go here for a salad, since I was staying upstairs at the Palazzo. The salad came in a plastic box with to-go cuterly and packets of dressing, even though I was eating there and having wine. Everyone else's items came in to-go boxes too. It was a little odd, delicious and very affordable and my server couldn't have been nicer, so I was fine with it. In my home town of San Francisco, that big, yummy, fresh salad would have been $10-$15; it was was around 5E here.

Comfortable spot on Via dal Trivio which is a central pedestrian corso in Ascoli. The service is excellent. The owner (also owns the restaurant Desco) watches over the business with care and is friendly and helpful about finding places in Ascoli. Food is good and reasonable for quick meals -- pastas and salads at lunchtime and pizza in the evening. Great apperitivi with accompanying snacks. Perfect for people watching and a local spot for Ascolani to meet up.

This is a favorite for people watching! Sit on the square and watch the locals promenade in the evening before a late dinner. Aperitivo is good so it's a favorite spot. The square is beautiful so an evening here is very enjoyable.

Typical Italian coffee bar - or so we thought. And very much appreciated as a tourist! Great coffee surrounded by Italian locals on somewhat unsteady tables and chairs. No English spoken. It all adds to the atmosphere. Good view on the beautiful piazza. Very nice!
