You don't have to necessary to go to "Bolshoi" theater to enjoy Russian ballet. Great venue inside the Kremlin (awesome opportunity to be inside Kremlin at night and see how beautiful is that). I saw one of my most favorite ballets Nutcracker in February 2019 and it was fabulous. Can't wait to go back to Theater of Kremlin ballet. Bravo. D

Boooked through Kassir.ru with assistance of hotel staff as website was only in Russian. Large, modern theatre near Gorky Park - metro Frunzenskaya 100m away. Tickets available on the day itself ranged from Rb500-3500. We paid Rb2000 for good seats plus 10% booking fee. Impressive sets, flawless dancing (so the girls in our party said), huge cast, sumptuous costumes. Great value for the Moscow ballet experience.
