Connecticut is a study in attraction and contrast. In one small state, you’ll find miles of sandy oceanfront shoreline, acres of forested hiking trails, and world-class museums, art and theater. Here family-friendly adventure parks and aquariums are just minutes from dynamic casino resorts and quaint, historic small towns — offering experiences that range from culinary to cultural, luxurious to laid-back. It’s the perfect place to unwind and recharge, all at the same time.

This place is a premier racing facility, family run for three generations, and shown nationally on a weekly basic all over the country! That is how good the racing is at Stafford Motor Speedway. You very well could see Tony Stewart there this year, Ray Evernham, or current NASCAR star Ryan Preece racing select events. Stafford Motor Speedway is a must attend every Friday night from late April through the end of September.

Whether you love to race your car, watch cars race, view hundreds of beautiful historic cars from all over the globe this is a fantastic location for the entire family featuring activities for all ages! Set in the bucolic countryside of CT and easily reachable from the tri-state area or beyond it is a place I return with my historic car many times from Memorial Day to Labor Day. And you can learn to drive like a professional at their renowned Skip Barber Driving School or how to improve driving your own car. Good food, vendors and happy visitors and staff. Make the trip!
