Two of us had lunch here. The sushi was fresh and tasty. The service was good. The restaurant is small and charming.

Food seems to be freshly cooked with good amount of spice/heat although we found the sauces to be very watery . Lots of choice on the menu but all must be ordered individually...no set menu to choose from

La Citronnelle is a vietnamese restaurant now located in Agneaux (4 km away from Saint-Lo). The restaurant offers vietnamese menu and take-away meals.
I stopped to get a takeaway for the family after a long drive. I was greeted with a smile and the English speaking owners helped me out of the hole I was digging with my terrible command of the French language. The food was fresh, tasty and healthy. No deep fried oily takeaway food here. Very vegetarian friendly. They were all really helpful and I cannot reccomend La Citronnelle highly enough.CheersMany thanks for your very kind words. I trust you had a good stay at Chateau de la Roque with our good friend Ludovic Turpin. I also trust your ferry return trip was much smoother than the first one. Look forward to seeing you again and thanks for the very kind comments which makes our work so much more enjoyable. Best wishes for the years to come. Andre Lemeray

The Royal Wok as it is known in St Lo is one of those huge self service Chinese restaurants that most of us avoid. But this one is quite excellent! From the moment that we arrived the staff were extremely helpful and having showed us to our table took us back to the buffet to choose our meal. Some of the foods were already cooked but we chose the ingredients of a stir fry which included fish, meat, chicken and vegetables which we carried over to the chef who cooked for us whilst we watched. We each then chose a sauce and the cooked meal was then put back into the wok together and the result was outstanding. Having eaten that we went back for a course of meats and vegetables which had been deep fried - again quite excellent. Then we went again! ...and again! ...and again! Finally we had dessert which was a freshly prepared fresh fruit mix including apples, oranges, strawberries and other fruits. There were many other desserts to choose from as well. The quality of the meal was so good, the meal wasn't expensive as it is a set price, but the best thing was being able to go back for more which was a terrific bonus.
