This little Northwestern Indiana gem is located in an otherwise somewhat run-down strip mall, but overlook the outside and take a chance. Fuji is a small restaurant, and the inside isn't much fancier than the outside. However, presumably that's because all their effort goes into the delicious sushi rolls. Many times when we go to a sushi restaurant, I'll stick to sashimi rather than sushi, but our daughter insisted we had to get sushi here, and I'm glad she did. There are rolls for pretty much any taste. There are crunchy, spicy, vegetarian--just about anything you might want. It was so hard to even choose! My personal favorite was probably the caterpillar roll, wrapped in slices of avocado,, but everything was amazing. There are other items on the menu, including traditional ramen soup. Everything we had was very fresh-tasting. Service was good, although the server we had spoke so quietly I could hardly hear him. This is not inexpensive supermarket sushi, although the prices were not unreasonable. This is definitely going onto the "must visit" list when we go up to see our daughter!

Best Cantonese restaurant in the area. The people are very friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. My SO likes the Orange Chicken; I like the Beef Egg Foo Young. We have been enjoying this restaurant for many years. They have never disappointed us.
Picked up dinner. I've been to the location where I live once or twice, and this was my first visit here. Server was patient as I figured out the menu, let me try the honey sesame chicken before I bought it, along with the orange chicken. Appreciate the brown rice option. Food was good, a little high-priced, but I think that's chain-wide. I'd return if in the area.

I have been pretty adventuresome with trying things on their menu. Haven't done that at other Chinese Restaurants. I've enjoyed everything I've tried. Don't see too many people dining in though. Most get take out. That was alright last night. Made for a quiet evening. We'll keep going back, whether it be for take out or eating in.

The owner, Pete, is always around to take orders by phone or greet guests dining in or picking up food. Dining in is always welcoming, food is very fresh and hot, the dining room is comfortable and service is good. Take out is equally good and the portion sizes are HUGE and the prices are very reasonable. Flavors are tasty. Delivery fees are low as well.
