We had lunch with our 16 member travel group. “Beef” soup with homemade noodles looked more like chicken broth and had no visible meat and could have been hotter, but it was flavorful. Simple salad nicely dressed. Roast turkey came with homemade wide, flat pasta noodles were very tasty and not too fatty (much better than the same had in a recommended restaurant in Zagreb). Apple strudel for dessert was warm and slightly crisp. Some of the best we’ve had on the trip. As we were leaving, I saw a serving bowl of what looked like very tempting beef stew or meatballs. Location is interesting, up a steep hill/driveway which we walked since it could not accommodate a large bus, although probably private cars can manage. It was a bit chilly, but in warmer weather, it appears there is inviting seating outside. Worth consideration.

Asian food is not a tradition in Slovenia, but the local kitchen is already a hodgepodge between Alpine, Italian, Seafood and Balkan that the Asian twist only adds to the pleasure of the high-quality kitchen scene in Maribor.Miyabi has a classical seating arrangement with tables and chairs, but the food is high standard Japanese. Sushi and else, including algue salad, green tea tiramisu plus the big classics makes it a pleasant alternative to the other restaurants.

Friendly service, but nothing special. There is no outdoor seating. Food can compere with and other Chinese restaurants in Slovenia. Duck was ok.

The food is extremely delicious, but everything else is poor. The staff is friendly, but very slow and disorganized. The place itself is dirty, tables and the floor is never clean. When you go out of the restaurant your clothes always smell like food, which is not convinient at all.Nevertheless, food is great..Dear Liza,We are really happy that you like our food. About other things, we are sorry if you had this kind of experience. We clean the space every morning and whenever possible in between. A big problem is when new guests just sit down by the table that the previous guests just left before we can come to prepare it properly, especially in the rush hour. We are unhappy about that as well. We have good ventilation and even after working the whole day in the restaurant, our clothes don't smell at all. However, if this happened to you, we are really sorry. Best regards, Ngon team.
