The food is still excellent at Sake Cafe. This is not a large restaurant, but nice for the area. I noticed that some of the furniture is starting to show some wear, especially the leather in the booths. They have added better wine for dinner. Lunch specials are really great and inexpensive.

From Longview to Lufkin, this is the best Hibachi we've had. Mostly it's the rice. Somehow it is just more flavorful than the other Hibachi grills around. This is a popular place so it usually doesn't take as long to get service here compared to some others.

Very nice atmosphere with three menu choices: sushi & sashimi, kitchen prepared & habachi. There for lunch so had Bento boxes. Well prepared assortment for nominal price. We'll definitely return. Server was very helpful & pleasant.
have always enjoyed either eating in or picking up from chens. They have a good "special" wonton soup which comes with vegetables and various meats plus some wontons. It is one of my favorites. Their regular wonton soup is good, too. Their choices are an excellent choice for simpler tasting, lower sodium, food if you ask for steam rice and not so salty or sweet entrees. Definitly a town favorite.
