This restaurant serves chinese and japanese food but I have to say the building looks like it needs some refurbishment and the atmosphere lacks something I still cannot pin point...Food portions are generous and food tastes pretty good but there is always the feeling that it could be better when you are there

We came here for lunch after having a great experience the last time, expecting (hoping) for more of the same. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Despite the restaurant not being very crowded, the service was slow and confused. After ordering drinks and appetizers, a second waiter came to our table and asked if we were ready to order or would like drinks. It only went downhill from there. We wanted to order a second drink, but try as we might, we could not get one waiter to come to our table. At one point, one waiter even said, âIâll be backâ & never came back.The restaurant uses a system where you push a button on the table to call for service. When our appetizer came needing salt, we rang the bell 4 times and no luckâmy wife had to get up and go to the bar to ask for salt herself. My wifeâs main course was a tuna that was so overcooked that it looked like it came from a can. It also was completely unseasoned and she did not even eat it. The food and service were so inferior to our first time here that I donât know if I would give it a third try & I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Ambiente descolado e sushis bem feitos é o resumo do Katana. Sou do Recife e gostei muito do Katana. Há uma boa variedade de sushis, embora não seja nada fora do comum. As opcões, em termos de quantidade, atendem o padrão médio. Mas o que agrada mesmo é o sabor. Os sushis são bem feitos e vi algumas preparações bem legais que não tinha conhecido ainda, mesmo considerando que em Recife há excelentes restaurantes japoneses. Então foi uma ótima surpresa! Um ponto negativo é não existirem combos, que eu costumo sempre pedir. Lá você tem duas opções: ou pede o rodÃzio ou se serve na bancada no sistema self-service por peso. Além da comida japonesa (sushis, sashimis, temakis, etc), há também algumas opções (não muitas) de frituras, como rolinhos primaveras, pastéis e outros. Fora isso, um ponto legal é que eles servem pizza também, o que pde ser legal se você vai com crianças e as mesmas não gostam de sushi.

Great selection of sushis and sashimis. You help yourself and then pay by weight (approx â¬20 per kg). Drinks are ordered at the table. Nice ambience, attentive, recommended. You might even see a local celebrity who 'almost' won The Voice of Brazil.

Local agradável e proposta inovadora de rodizio via esteira. Porem o que pode ser melhorado é alinhar antes com o cliente quais suas preferencias, ao invés de ficar soltando inúmeros itens que não serão consumidos, como ocorreu com a gente pois havia excesso de fritos e queijo, e nos preferimos os crus.
