Find out what Asian restaurants to try in Council Bluffs. Council Bluffs is a city in and the county seat of Pottawattamie County, Iowa, United States. The city is the most populous in Southwest Iowa, and a principal city in the Omaha–Council Bluffs metropolitan area. It is located on the east bank of the Missouri River, across from Omaha, Nebraska. Council Bluffs was known, until at least 1853, as Kanesville. It was the historic starting point of the Mormon Trail. Kanesville is also the northernmost anchor town of the other emigrant trails, since there was a steam powered boat to ferry their wagons, and cattle, across the Missouri River.

We love this sibling of the original Saigon at 120th & Center. Great food, a serene ambiance, and very good service. Love the soups, especially the spicy hot and sour and the phoâs. Good gluten free options, a full bar, and good wine list. Highly recommended.

Admittidly, we were there on a Saturday evening. This must be the only family restaurant in downtown. I love kids. I have kids of my own. There's lots of families with kids here. I love big families. With kids there's always something going on. You'll find it here. Pasta is what pasta is. It's filling. Service was good but they did miss a critical point. We only foudn out afterward that a trip to the salad bar was included. Others in our party (served at a different table becuase they had to split us up) were offered the salad bar when they ordered their food. When we found out after we were finished our waiter said, "oh yeah, you want to to get you some plates." ---No. We're already done we replied. It was an honest oversight. No harm but it did happen. If I wanted some spaghetti i wouldn't object to going back there if someone suggested it. :-)Thanks so much for coming out. We're glad to see your entire party was able to get well fed, and everyone enjoyed their meal. We're sorry we missed explaining our ordering process better. Thank you for your understanding, and we can't wait to give you a delicious, complete Spaghetti Works experience when you come back. Hope to see you soon. Best, The Team at Spaghetti Works

Had a person from Denmark with me so I decided to try Hu Hot. We got there early so seating was not a problem. Had to show him the ropes on how to select the food and spice it up and as always it was superb. He liked his hotter than i so he went back for more and spiced it up. He was really surprised as he didn't think he would like that kind o food.

The wait was definitely worth it. Two sushi rolls that we ordered were both outstanding. Fortunately, they put us in a booth which was comfortable. The wait was definitely longer than a normal restaurant but perhaps they made the sushi while we were there and it was a busy night. So if youâre not in a hurry, you will not find sushi in Council Bluffs any better than this. We found it humorous that they had each sushi dish uniquely numbered on the menu but when we ordered by number we ended up having to open the menu to show the corresponding item.
