First established in 1917 as a summer resort destination, Bella Vista has evolved and redesigned itself over the succeeding years. Bella Vista became a retirement community in 1965, and, after much contention and a 2006 vote of its property owners, became an incorporated city. Following its official incorporation on January 1, 2007, the new city government took over the police department, fire department, streets, trash removal and other city functions, while the Property Owners Association (POA) retained control of the many amenities available to homeowners and their guests. Amenities include numerous parks, clubhouses with workout areas, swimming pools, seven golf courses, seven lakes with fishing and boat docks, a marina, swimming beach, putt putt golf courses and tennis courts, and extensive hiking and biking trails throughout its beautiful Ozark hills.

The food is better-than-buffet quality, well priced, and serving sizes are generous. We got our food quickly, and the staff was very professional. The menu is extensive- I was impressed with some good children's-sized options, a range of healthier options, as well as full Chinese restaurant fare. Overall, quite good.

Street Ninja began life as a food truck. Some months ago they opened a dining room but the food is still cooked in the food truck out back. The evening we went I had Sweet and Sour Chicken and my husband had Drunken Noodles. We went with another couple and I honestly don't remember what they had, but they thought their food was OK if not outstanding. My dish was excellent - batter on the chicken not heavy and nicely crisp, and the sauce was great. My husband's dish had very few noodles and wasn't what he expected. We also ordered some spring rolls, which were very good. The main problem was how long we had to wait for our food. There was only one server to handle the whole dining room, and I think it was about 45 minutes before we got our spring rolls (which arrived without plates, silverware or napkins). Everyone else was waiting just as long as we were. In fact, one couple got up and left after waiting a decent time and never being approached by the waitress. I'd like to think maybe they had some staff that failed to show up and therefore service was slow, but I don't know. I think overall this place has promise, but they're going to have to do better with service and also the wait time. I'll try it again sometime for lunch. They're open weekdays 11 to 2 and 4 to 8 pm, Saturdays 12 to 2 and 4 to 8.

Sushi House is an experience that you have to see for yourself. When you walk inside, you're greeted by the staff...the entire staff. You're seated, start to look at the menu, and are given a free appetizer. You order your sushi, which is always fresh and delicious, and are given a free dessert as well. This is a fast paced restaurant, with friendly service. Just know that it is always busy and is on the loud side. Don't expect to have many quiet private conversations in here.

Inside of restaurant is much nicer than the outside. Nice chairs and tables, good service. Chicken fried rice was good sized portion, steamed dumplings were good, not sure what was inside them but they had good flavor and were tasty. Bubble tea was good, almost like a milkshake with the tapioca bubbles. The mango flavor was good. I will try this place again.

Once again, I have come to realize the value of TripAdvisor. We made a brief visit to Bentonville and beforehand I checked for a recommendation of a Thai restaurant. It's our go-to food when traveling. Thai Kitchen came up as #1 Thai.I called ahead of time and asked about a reservation for Saturday and was correctly told it was not necessary. We arrived at the address and without the TripAdvisor rating, we might have had second thoughts about going in. It's located in a block of stores and shops that have a "funky" look.We went in and got a nice friendly greeting. The service was flawless and the food was terrific. We ordered large anticipating leftovers because our hotel room had a refrigerator and microwave. The portions were generous and we easily made up a second dinner the following day.Everything was very good. The Princess Vegetable Delight is not something we have ever seen on a Thai menu before. It was outstanding.All in all, a wonderful meal.
