From a modest, unassuming building came a different and great meal! The menu has lots of variety, including sushi, Thai, Hibachi and Teriyaki dishes, and appetizers. Don't be fooled by the unadorned and rather plain-looking building....there is a ton of great food awaiting you inside!

Portions were decent and presentation was nice. All parties involved had stomach issues after eating shrimp dish.... Which is our fault for thinking shrimp will be fine in Albermarle. Do the chicken, stay away from the shrimp.Waitress was very nice and atmosphere was great for business lunch.

Spent almost three weeks on a business trip. Visited this place several times and things couldn't have been better. The food was good and the prices are fair. We hung around for a long time a few visits and they didn't have a problem with it.

My wife and I had not eaten at Little Tokyo for over a year, and we decided to eat dinner there last Friday evening. It was not crowded, which surprised us considering it was a Friday in prime time.We were seated immediately, and our waitress was promptly taking drink orders. My wife had two tempura dishes -- one shrimp and one veggies. She enjoyed both, which arrived piping hot right out of the fryer. I ordered a hibachi mixed grill that ended up being mediocre. In particular, it included an enormous portion of excessively sweet and over cooked carrots. The fried rice was barely warm.Prices at Little Tokyo are modest, and you need to go early unless you are seeking thebar scene which starts about dark and continues into the wee hours.
