Sample the beloved vintages of the Marlborough Wine Region in Blenheim, an agricultural town in the heart of New Zealand’s renowned wine hub. More than 20 wineries are just a hop, skip and a corkscrew away from Blenheim, where a stream of cafes and restaurants serve up tasty, artisan fare. One of the sunniest towns in New Zealand, Blenheim is the perfect destination for foodies and wine lovers who love to soak up the sun while sipping the fruits of a vineyard’s labor.

Marlborough is not only rich with vines flowing wine, but also blessed with local artists and crafters. Blenheim isn't all vineyards, there are other aspects to this place too. We really enjoyed our visit here to this small but interesting gallery in the centre of town. There is a feature about the commemorations of the arrival of the European settlers and some of the many issues this raises especially from a Māori perspective. The exhibition features some stunning short films (it would be even better with some seating to watch these from). The small shop is excellent too.
