i am a huge fan of beautiful architectures. and here you will get to see ancient chinese architecture at its best preserved condition. it is a rich family's residence. very very huge. the newer portion has better architecture with lots of beautiful carvings, statues and great for pictures. totally loved it best to go with a guide if possible. its like an hour drive from pingyao.
