Wasn't sure what to expect but had a great experience here. Fabulous and incredibly interesting displays and "hands on " activities. My husband and I spent a lot more time here than we expected to - such an original place. The building inside and out is very beautiful - in fact the whole square it is situated in and the area round about has some incredible architecture. Well worth a wander round. Would definitely recommend - a great place to visit and for free ( donation welcome).

A very beautiful, remarkable pink palace, right in the center of Lisbon. The Foz Palace was designed in the 18th century but was completed in the 19th century. The building was designed by the Italian architect Francesco Saverio Fabri . The facade of the Foz Palace is typical of the 18th century. The interior has a decoration characteristic of the second half of the 19th century. The Foz Palace is one of the most magnificent buildings in the capital of Portugal.
