You've probably heard that Guinness tastes better in Dublin (fresh from the factory), but what you may not know is that Dublin is a perfect destination for the whole family. No, we're not suggesting you let the kiddies drink a pint. Instead, take them to the Dublin Zoo, to feed the ducks in Stephen's Green or on a picnic in Phoenix Park. Scholars enjoy walking in the literary footsteps of such writers as Yeats and Joyce, while discerning shoppers have their pick of designer boutiques.

A shop selling vintage costume jewelry.
I've bought several unique pieces from Rhinestones over the years when I travel to Dublin, and I must say that it is my favourite jewellery store ever. The staff are incredibly helpful (if you want them to be- they are also happy to let you browse unpressured if you so prefer). I purchased two vintage hammered gold and emerald rhinestone bracelets, several brooches, and a very unique Connemara marble necklace, and I couldn't be happier with them. I constantly receive compliments when I wear them. For those of us interested in Irish made vintage jewellery, they have a nice selection and are regularly getting new pieces in. They have offerings at all price points, so it is the perfect place to bring home a small thoughtful gift from Ireland for a friend or family member, or to make a big splurge for a grand entrance at a classy event.
