We'd been to the Canal Street Grill years ago and weren't impressed. People in out Manteca neighborhood were raving about the oplace, so we gave it another try for a light dinner. My wife had the blackened prime rib sandwitch and I had the Reuben. Bother were very good and I liked the home made chips. We'll definitely be back for a full dinner soon.

This is a great local cafe that makes a wide variety of delicious breakfast dishes. One of my favorites is the Mediterranean omelet, but the pancakes, egg dishes, and hash browns are also excellent. I had a very good meal here with a very friendly and attentive server. As I ordered from the "cheap" menu, I was surprised that the meal was quite filling and very tasty. My only disappointment was while paying; the cashier would not honor my 10% discount card because my order was from the 2/4/6/8 menu. The only other locations that have refused the discount is the one in South Lake Tahoe and Carson City (which are owned by the same company).
