Fantastic service from a wonderful staff. Food comes out hot and as ordered. Everything is prepared to perfection! Don't bother eating breakfast anywhere else in town...this is the spot to go! Bacon was a little salty - that is all that was not up to par.

We stopped in for lunch while visiting the antique shops in Paradise. Was a great choice. Clam strips appetizer came out piping hot and tasty. My wife had the clam chowder served with sourdough bread. I had the Alaskan Snow Cod. So good. The tartar sauce and slaw were really good as well. I find no fault with this meal. Would certainly return!

When my fiancé and I pulled up to the Cozy Diner it packed with cars. She commented that it was really good or really cheap.Turns out she was right about both. It's a breakfast spot with a definite diner feel. The food is no frills, just solid breakfast diner breakfast standards and a couple of stand outs. I didn't feel like sausage, bacon or ham so I bit on the southwest veggie omelette, which I recently had at a expensive, named restaurant and was a bland bust (at expensive other restaurant). It was really very good with a lot of excellent flavors. My better half had the typical eggs, bacon, hashbrowns w/ wheat toast breakfast and we both had a very good, hot cup of coffee (no sugar needed).Nice start to the day and all for under $20. We haven't had an under $20 breakfast in a loooooooong time.

The Old Barn Kitchen recently opened and my honey and I couldn't wait to give it a try. The parking lot has been completely packed, a good sign, so off we went. The place replaced Donna's which was just OK and the new owners remodeled, painted and made Old Barn really cute (as my wife would say).First, the good: The atmosphere and service were great. Everybody was cheerful, happy and helpful with staff coming by and checking in on us constantly....Good JobBUT (and we're hoping it's just working out the kinks) The food was not very good or well done. The salad was really good but my wife's burger which she requested well done, came out medium rare which any cook should be able to get right, My "Ruben" sandwich was definitely not a Ruben. It was a pretty good sandwich but the bread was wrong and the interior fixins were off. The worst of the meal was that the fries were just plain greasy and were fried in the same grease that the Fish & Chips were made so what came out were very greasy fish flavored yuck. The potatoes on my plate also tasted like fish and shouldn't be fried in grease anyway but should be cooked on the grill. So long story short my wife's meal, she couldn't and wouldn't eat and mine was not a must go back and get that again lunch. We're going to try it one more time and hope they work out the kinks, but they MUST fix that nasty grease thing.
