The first bar I visited in Korat (just around the corner from the popular Siri Hotel) and went back a few times more, as it was excellent. I enjoyed a game of pool, a few beers, a chat with the governor (see my YouTube) as well as an honest pepperoni pizza for takeaway.

Arrived on a Saturday night at 8 pm looking for a meal. Very little on offer except farang fast food. I tried a snack to ease the hunger but it was poor. (Microwaved pastry...soggy). No Thai food for us this night which surprised us? Those that were there were all enjoying themselves and having a few drinks and listening to the band which was good. Which is more what I think the place is about. Staff were very friendly polite and welcoming. Just isn't 5 star.

After our farm chok chai tour, it is convenient to eat at their restaurant. The food is delicious too though not exactly cheap for thailand price. Overall, it is good that there is such a restaurant to eat as all of us are tired and hungry

I first saw this restaurant when visiting the hotel where it is located when she was visiting there for a business meeting. I was shuffled off tho the massage area in the basement (which was also very good), and afterwards thought I might get to eat something before the business stuff was completed. I found the restaurant just off the main reception area, but I was too late for the lunch sitting.This time we were taking out my partners daughter and her husband, and I remembered that I had promised myself to return and try the restaurant out. So, off we went.On first entering the venue looks formal, but the staff and atmosphere are very pleasant. Most, if not all the tables have a revolving platform in the centre, which lends itself to sharing. Which is what we did.The menu also helpfully offers each dish as small, medium or large portions. We had a selection of dishes: rice of course, roast duck in a lime sauce, spare ribs in Hong kong sauce, seafood and noodles and others. All very good, all hot on arrival, but staggered service.Staff very friendly and helpful. Good, and would definitely re visit.

For the farangs out there that are craving a taste of American bar food, R Lom Dee is the answer to your prayers. It is currently a one man show, with Noppon greeting, cooking, and serving. The menu is limited to about ten items, but that means that everything is excellent. The meatballs are excellent whether eaten on a sub or with spaghetti. The recent addition of a cheesesteak sandwich is another great choice. On Mondays, the charcoal grill is fired up and Pon works his magic on spareribs that are served with classic accompaniments of cole slaw, potato salad, and baked beans (all homemade, of course). The ribs have become legendary in the local community and usually sell out early in the evening. Did I mention the portions? They are BIG. Many diners will take home enough for a second meal. Sandwiches are served with French fries or onion rings. The restaurant is only open for dinner (4:00 PM - 11:00 PM), so don't eat lunch and chow down for dinner at R Lom Dee.
