Family and romantic dining in a beautiful old downtown historical building. We are also an art gallery. Great for all kinds of meetings too.
I had the most delightful and delicious lunch yesterday (salmon, veggies, caesar salad). The restaurant is small, intimate and interesting. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food some of the best I have had. They certainly did not rush us (even though an old friend and i spent 3 hours visiting over our lunch). I highly recommend the Red Vault.Thank you. We look forward to your next visit.

Had dinner on 5/8. Food was excellent and huge portions. Baby Back Ribs and Chicken Fried Steak were excellent quality also. Good cold beer and pina colota. Service was great. Prices were very reasonable. Clean establishment and restrooms.Recommend and I would return in a heartbeat.

You can certainly find better BBQ in Texas, yet Joel's is always satisfying. They have a nice sauce and a brisket sandwich with all the trimmings hits the spot. Even better, a sausage wrap makes a nice pop when you bite into the sausage. Always a good pit stop and the staff are always friendly.
Good Food, Good Drinks, Great Times. A wide selection of local fine wine and craft beer.
This restaurant is in downtown Flatonia. Converted old general store. Very cute. Opened only Thursday through Sunday. Staff friendly and helpful. Owner/Chef came and talked with us. Very nice individual. Food was excellent. Had Haus Burger and wife had cheese and meat platter. BUT THE BEST SURPRISE was the tomato basil soup. Honestly and truthfully, THE BEST EVER. A must to give this place a try. We plan to come back many times!
This café is in our auction barn and is only open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for lunch. The owner is an awesome cook, the food is great. This is the reason you go out to eat. From tacos to chicken fried steak and all at good prices. Everyone that works here are locals and very nice people. I cant say enough about the food here and we go here a couple times a month for lunch.
