Reviews on American food in Chester, England, United Kingdom. A gem of a city easily reached by rail from Liverpool. Small yet packed to the rafters with history, culture and stylish cafe/bar culture. At its heart, the historic black-and-white timbered "rows" provide a shopping experience like no other place on the planet.

Hanky Panky Pancakes is a creperie with a British twist. We have a lovely range of local cheeses, ice creams, teas and beers to go with your pancake. Naughty but nice! *Please note on bank holidays we are open 10am-4pm*
After a fitful night due to a poor accommodation we went for comfort luxury breakfast and not disappointed. We had a mix of savoury and sweet pancakes. All lovely. Only dock from a 5/5 as it took a while for food and fresh orange juice not available (1st world crisis!). Big table ahead of us.Does exactly what is says on the tin.Otherwise spot on and could easily be rolled out as a national brand.Thank you for leaving a review following your visit to HP. It is lovely to hear you enjoyed your pancakes. I totally agree about the fresh orange, we have looked into it but found we haven't got enough room for the machine. If we do start another HP we will be sure to factor in an orange squeezer. We would love to see you again at HP if you are in Chester

Popped into Revs at the weekend, been to loads of them now, mainly Leeds. But this one in Chester was spot on! Service from the guys behind the bar was good, could be fast, but this is down to them making cocktails. Just miss the bar staff would spot 3 guys and think maybe they just want some beers and serve us quicker!Atmosphere was buzzing with loads of people in.HI Dave, thank you so much for your feedback and for taking the time to write us a great review! I'm so happy to hear that you loved our atmosphere, and enjoyed the service from our team! See you soon!

Meat. Fire. Friends. A huge family-friendly venue with plenty of space for large groups, Chester is a laid-back choice to enjoy succulent grill delicacies cooked over an open fire, along with huge cocktails selection.
We visited on Sunday evening for the first time and we weren't disappointed! We enjoyed our burgers especially, everything was piping hot and the service from Emily was great. Very attentive and friendly. We will be back :)

Located on the bank of the river Dee at a spot known locally as the Groves, in the the heart of the historic city of Chester. We are fanatical about flames; silly about smokers and utterly obsessed with the smells, tastes and traditions of the Deep South.
Food is lovely, service was a little slow when we visited however it was very busy. Itâs American diner themed with large portions. The salmon was very nice! we got complimentary popcorn and prices werenât too expensive. There is the option to sit outside the front of the restaurant overlooking the river which is lovely. I would definitely return Hi kaitss_xox,Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.I am sorry to hear the service was a little bit slow, hopefully we'll do better on your next visit.I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the food :-).We hope to see you again soon.Best Wishes,Andy

In a nutshell:Service was slow as there was only one person waiting on.Food was nothing but average. My food was so hot I couldnât eat it although I had checked with the waiter before I ordered how spicy their cajun dust was to which he replied that it wasnât really just slightly warm - it literally blew my head off!Partners burger was nothing more than a âfancy Big Macâ - he didnât even eat half!Ordered onion rings which were forgotten by the waiter or chef.No apology when we mentioned the issues with our food or forgotten onion rings.Took about 15 minutes for the waiter to come to the table with the card machine in order for me to pay £52 for a very disappointing load of sh*t for want of a better word!
