This is my 3rd time eating at Dave's. Twice I've met clients there and once a friend from my book club. Each time was good. The place is packed with all ages. I saw electricians and others trades people getting lunch. I saw families with children happily eating. I saw retirees meeting friends and family . Definitely a welcoming restaurant. I feel like the buffet i had today had several good options, nicely presented. The buffet table was stocked so that items were consumed and replenished quickly. Food was fresh throughout the hour I was there. When I left at 1, the lunch crowd was still going strong. My meal for 2 was about $20 including tip and beverages. I felt that it was a great value.

My two sisters and I needed dinner on Saturday, October 13, but nothing too heavy. One sister was happy with the appetizer combo, the other sister had the shrimp basket, and I had the patty melt. We were all very pleased with the service, location, and food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The service here is always friendly. The food is consistently good. They have a variety of soups throughout the week and their hamburgers and fries are alway hot and tasty.

It's good food. Been there many times have never had anything bad. Patty melt is generous and juicy chilli is very good so are the cheese balls/curds. Had a tenderloin last night not real thick but good flavor. Seems to be only one waitress but she does a good job keeping up. Food comes out fairly quick.
