We were wandering around the Royal city of Arenjuez and in need of sustenance when we came across this restaurant just off from the Royal Palace and square .The menu I seem to remember was around the nine euro mark and the choice was good.As was the food ! We were in a very relaxed mood and ordered an extra bottle to top up the glass included in the price. They actually came back to us to check that we wanted a bottle and not just another glass of house wine. We all laughed when we said this was a day of tranquility after our mad dash around western side of Spain in our camper.The staff serving us at our outside table were very friendly and service was great.If you want a relaxing meal ( many restaurants touting their menus around ) then try Cookery.We will certainly go back again next time we visit Arenjuez.

Great little burger bar located in Abastos Market. My burger was really tasty although the crinkle cut frozen fries let the meal down as they were overcooked and laden with oil. But based on the burger alone I say give this place a try. The burgers are good quality and good value for money. They also have an interesting menu of different meat patties for the more adventurous among you; ostrich, alligator etc

Manila & Co is just what Aranjuez has been crying out for. A cafe that´s modern, with friendly and helpful staff and with creative and delicious simple food using fresh ingredients. Whoever owns this place is definitely an "outside the box" thinker. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I had a pineapple, spinach, mint and ginger juice (yummy), the chicken and avocado sandwich (delicious) and the mousse manilla (the flavour combinations blew me away) and then a black coffee over ice which was served with a strawberry on the side of the saucer. Seriously, all those little details add up and it was a joy to eat lunch here, especially as the staff seemed genuinely interested if you were enjoying the food. I was approached several times but not excessively so full marks for the staff too. That little lot cost me 14,20 euros which was worth every penny. I hope that this cafe is so successful that it can open other locations around the town. I hope it goes from strength to strength and I´ll definitely go back.

I walk past this place at least twice a day and have never ventured in until recently. I had the chicken burger which was all cooked from scratch, even the fries were homemade and everything was delicious. The portion sizes are generous so price v quality is very very good. My server was friendly and service was efficient. I'll definitely be going back here.
