Afghan Kitchen is the manifestation of a young boyâs dream. He roamed the streets of Kabul in his sandals and saw how hard his family worked to sustain themselves. In the times of war, they moved to different neighbouring countries until they finally came
The food has great flavors and good textures. The staff is very friendly, prompt and happy to help. The kitchen is quick. You can sit at western tables and chairs or on afghan carpets on the floor. Reservations are recommended if you are going after 6pm or on a weekend. They are very busy.Pricing is reasonable, portions are generous: their platter for 2 provided 3 meals for my wife and I.

Typical Afghan food. Chapli kebab, qabeli pillow, flavorful skewers, all yummy stuff. My two daughters had the 'couple combo'-- it had all the items combined. I had the chicken combo-- it had the juiciest chicken peices! The naan was delightful. It had traditional afghan decor. The lone server was quiet and efficient. The prices were a little on the higher side. And of course, the food was all halal.
