I found the restaurant through TripAdvisor and it was a very nice choice. Very good menu and super friendly owner. The service was perfect, as I loved so much that I went twice. It is for 29E per person, you get an appetizer, main course and dessert!Thank you and like will say « never 2 without 3 » Share pleasure

We arranged a meal at Oplato as a group of 9 for our final night in Paris. The decision was made to order the ten person sharing platter - be sure to ask for this in advance to get the single platter as ours had to be spread across two boards! The food was excellent, with a great selection of cheese, cured meats and salad vegetables along with small pieces of pâté and breadsticks. We would highly recommend this for large groups as it is a very sociable and informal way of having dinner. The only downsides were the heat as the restaurant was very hot and the stools which had no back to them, meaning they weren't particularly comfortable after sitting for a long period of time.

I was able to pay a visit to Le Baron Rouge last week. It was a bit further away from any other places I had been to. Perhaps that is part of the draw because there really were not many tourists around except for yours truly.I got there just after they opened at 5 pm. I sat at a small table and looked over the wine menus on the wall. Having settled on a red I was good to go and placed my drink order with the bartender. He spoke English and was friendly.Everyone else that made their way in seemed to be locals coming to talk story over a glass of wine and for some small glasses of beer. It was very laid back and relaxed. I did not see anyone order any food nor was anyone present with oysters. I suppose that I struck out there as I was looking forward to some.I enjoyed 3 glasses of wine and then ventured on. The wines to be found here are pretty extensive. A cozy little bar to enjoy some lovely drinks without feeling that you are in a tourist trap. If that's your type of thing then you would enjoy this place.
