The chef of Concours works every day only with fresh, organic products from farmers with the same passion of taste and quality. So there is no menucard. The chef will surprise you with his fine, delicious dishes of the menu of the day.
You do not need menus here, and there aren't any. Taking a seat in this lovely small restaurant is like buckling up for a mystery magic carpet ride for the taste sensation - every dish is a joyful adventure. Attentive service and attention to detail is ever present with regard to food and drink. Guests can choose a 3- or 4-course seasonal menu, let the staff know about your allergies/dietary restrictions and then zoom ... you're off. Amuse bouche arrives to set you up for the adventure ahead. Excellent matching wines can be served with each course for extra. Superb restaurant, cosy atmosphere; it feels like dining with friends. Bring someone here if you want to impress, to celebrate an event, or just to enjoy the culinary calisthenics. Highly recommended - will come back here many times more!

This place is a jem! They are renowned for their seafood, but everything is sooo good! The wine pairing is awesome and the service impeccable. My wife had a Caprese like salad for starter and I had the octopus prepared in 4 different ways. They were awesome. We had a lovely wine with it, but the shared paella for our main was really well done. The rice was perfect and it was stuffed with mussels and other shellfish. We had a great wine with it. We left the place very fulfilled.

Buzzing tapas bar down a little street in Utrecht city centre. Loud, lively atmosphere. Service generally friendly but by no means perfect (e.g. the waitress was a bit offhand in telling us she was busy discussing something with a colleague when I approached her to ask for our reserved table). Extensive menu with lots of choice of food and wine. Tapas were really nothing special though - garlic bread focaccia was extremely dry and tasteless, the rest of the food was fairly bland but tasty enough. All in all a fine little venue for meeting friends for a glass of wine and a few bites, but not really a culinary highlight of Utrecht.
