Situato nel cuore della città di Lucca, questo piccolo American Bar offre prodotti americani ed internazionali. Vini, birre, whiskeys, sode e gazzose, hot dogs, sandwiches in un'atmosfera "cozy" Americana.
Went here because of good reviews. Itâs a quirky friendly different style of place. Served terrible wine and mediocre beer while giving the impression of being knowledgeable. Only bad experience in Lucca. Even back street tiny cafes served delicious chilled wine. Too many other good places to visit. Not going back. Dear customer,We would like to apologize for your bad experience, however I clearly remember you and your attitude since the time you came in on Saturday. You just classified as a bad wine, one of the most remarkable Rose in Lucca:- Fattoria al Dotto, Carignano, Lucca 2017You can't also classify an American IPA as "mediocre beer" while you even didn't read who's the producer:- Founder's Session Ale. Detroit, MIMoreover, you can't leave us 2 stars based on your prejudiced, personal taste.A 2 stars review it's a cold shot for me, my stuff and my selected products.Enjoy your holidays and remember that a personal taste is just personal and it shouldn't affect the whole evaluation. If you don't like something you can ask for an alternative, as I'm always ready to satisfy my customers.Best Regards.Vassili Karayannis La Cantina di Lucca

This friendly place serves good focaccia with a wide selection of toppings. English speaking waiter. The setting is very creative with a lot of small details

This is located over along the canal above Piazza San Francesco. Initially I knew about this place because I saw it on Guy Fieri's show when he was dining in Tuscany. Well that was 3 years ago. That chef is gone and they have a new menu. I was tired and disappointed in the traditional food places in and around Lucca center. The ristorante is quiet and comfortable. It later filled up as the night wore on. I had a flan ricotta parmesan as a starter and then rolled pork tenderloin as my secondo. Both were delicious, like home cooking. A couple of glasses of local red wine and and a delicious glass of vino passata (late harvest wine) from the Island of Lipari, off the coast of Sicily. My female waiter was informed and knew what she was talking about i.e. food and wine. And that was my night there. Hope your experience will be as good as mine.

This restaurant is really lovely inside, looks comfortable, welcoming and stylish. Outdoor tables provide dining al fresco, surely very popular in the hot summer months, but the style does not carry over outdoors. Tables are set up in a more standard way, although still nicely presented. We had a good dinner, with a generous tagliere (platter) of very good cold cuts and cheeses. The rest was nice but nothing to rave about. We shared a pasta and a main course and had a 1/2 litre unexciting house red. No real complaints, but we expected a little more value for money.
