It was scorching hot the day we were in Ãbidos and we were starving and thirsty and followed the signs to the place.It was quite an experience! The whole restaurant is medieval-themed, which makes sense in that village, but not too much. Above all: very, very friendly and swift service with a smile. The tapas plate for two was enough and delicious, and we had a local drink, a berry cordial, which was not only outstanding, but very refreshing.The price-quality ratio is perfect, and the location is quite cool. Literally and coolness-factor wise ;) highly recommended!

Well, just about to post this review and then I saw the photo of us with the 2 couples at our table, visiting Obidos from the States. Totally agree with everything they said, really wonderful food and wine, great ambience and service. This tasting menu evening is a new venture for the owner of Jamon Jamon and we wish them all well. Particularly great to have this too on an evening when many restaurants are closed.

After two very disappointing dinner experiences, we lucked out when we chose Memoria for our dinner this evening. The waiter, Mirander, was exceptional. His English is excellent (as is his French, Portuguese and possibly other languages). He was attentive and funny and pleasant. The food was excellent. Four of us had four different meals, all of them delicious and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend.
