Ce restaurant a changé; c'était l'assurance de trouver une cuisine recherchée, très originale avec des mets que l'on avait peu de chance de trouver ailleurs. Pour la suite, la présentation des fromages était une visite guidée de cette belle région et que dire des desserts et de la carte des vins !!! L'établissement a évolué, la cuisine reste de qualité et satisfera ceux qui n'ont pas connu l'établissement à l'époque des frères et soeurs Datessen.

Nog vrij jonge zaak, met hoofdzakelijk tapas aangevuld met enkele suggesties. Suggestie waren zeer lekker. Vlees perfect gebakken zoals gevraagd. Begeleidende aardappelen waren iets minder. De tapas werden zeer sober geserveerd en deden u zeker niet aan Spanje denken. Kwaliteit was niet goed. Of te hard gebakken of te droog. Bediening zeer vriendelijk. Interieur zeer fris en modern.

Decided to check this place out for dinner as it was mentioned in my guidebook as primarily doing great salads, but being suitable for carnivores too. In the evening, the salad "Gourmande" menu includes both a salad and a dessert (though if you choose a crepe or gaufre [waffle]) as your dessert option, you pay a small supplement). The salad choices are many and varied! All the salads are based on tomato and lettuce, with additional ingredients including duck, goat's cheese, lentils, smoked salmon etc (if my French translation is correct!). I went for the Vegetarian salad, which included hot goat's cheese, carrots, a hard boiled egg, olives and potatoes. When the salad arrived, I was shocked at the size of the plate - also, I had been expecting a few cubes of goat's cheese, instead I got an entire small goat's cheese covered with breadcrumbs with some slices of toast. The potatoes turned out to be a delicious jacket potato, cooked just right so that it was fluffy inside. The whole salad was delicious and I seriously doubted at one point whether I would be able to finish it all!For those that aren't too keen on salads, there was a separate section of the menu which from memory included options like burgers.For dessert I opted for a 3 scoop selection of ice cream and sorbet. I loved the way that each flavour had some additional descriptive words, like "Intense vanilla" and "The heart of a strawberry". I went for the coffee ice cream, raspberry sorbet and verveine (the local green liqueur) sorbet. All were delicious, particularly the coffee.There was a good buzzy atmosphere, with seats both inside and outside filling up steadily from 7pm onwards with a range of regulars and tourists. Service was good, and as a final nice touch, the bill came accompanied by a jelly sweet in the shape of a crocodile (the walls of this place are covered with images of crocodiles). Including a small glass of wine, the total bill was 15.50 euros for 1 person. I would definitely come back here again. Loved everything, disliked nothing.
