We were the first diners to arrive at 5.30 Saturday afternoon. Promptly seated and order taken from very pleasant, helpful waitress. We ordered a pot of tea, pork chop and vermicelli salad. Pot of tea arrived as the restaurant slowly filled up with more customers. Drank our pot of tea and ordered another pot. Orders being taken and drinks being served and by 6 o'clock we were wondering if there had been some sort of mix up. 6.05 and our meals arrived. Hubby said his pork chop was ok but nothing special and my vermicelli salad was pleasant with no wow factor. Other than that the restaurant decor was pleasant, the staff were friendly, the price didn't break the bank but maybe I was expecting too much based on previous reviews??

I got what I ordered, super chilly Pho with extra chili's on a side. I thought I'm gonna die by the end, yet just sweat a lot and survived.Definitely would recommend

Pho Hanoi at Ramsgate had good food and very friendly service. Easy parki g out back was handy . All food choices for family were enjoyable. Staff recommended Salmo Claypot and was delicious. BYO and reasonably priced. Worth another visit.

The first Vietnamese restaurant in Oatley with lovely food and well serve. Traditional Vietnamese ingredients have been joyed with Western cooking style.
I've dined here a few times and each time have thoroughly enjoyed every single dish. The atmosphere is comfortable, the staff are welcoming and efficient.Desserts are delightful too with great flavours like lemongrass creme brûlée and interesting icecream flavours to try.I'd highly recommend Chao Vietnamese and will continue to visit to work my way through the menus. These are some of the dishes I've sampled at Chao:*Vege Spring Roll with cabbage, shiitake mushroom, shallot and carrot*Crispy Wonton with pumpkin, blue cheese and pumpkin seed with a sweet berries dipping sauce*Fish Cake with Barramundi with Dill, shallot and dipping hot and sour sauce*Lotus Stems Salad*Pork n Prawn Salad*Chao Pancake (my absolute favourite!)*La Vong Fried Fish (first had this in Hanoi and I'm addicted)*Salmon Clay Pot
