After a long day walking along the sea front, it was time to relax. We chanced upon Anatolia and were lucky to find a table. Its worth booking early. Nonetheless we ordered food and drinks from the helpful waitress and enjoyed an excellent meal. I had a vegetarian meal, suggested by the attentive waitress which not only looked good but tasted delicious. Both meals were full of fresh ingredients, served hot and tasty. Apologies for not being a fan of Turkish Delight, but it was a nice touch at the end of the meal.

Authentic Turkish & Mediterranean food We have 35 years experience on Turkish food We giving Turkish hospitality to our guests
We eat a lot of Turkish food, having lived in Green Lanes, Haringey, for over 20 years, and consider ourselves real aficionados. Imagine our delight, therefore, when we found this little gem in the Dovercourt area of Harwich. It was a quick overnight visit, and we didnât hold out high hopes. However, from the moment we walked in it was just the best experience: lovely friendly, helpful staff, nice atmosphere, about half full, and a nice table that we had reserved in advance via their website. Turns out we didnât need to have done, but we are so glad we did, because it wasnât something Iâd like to have missed. As is customary in Turkish restaurants there were a number of free nibbles/starters (bread, black olives, tsatsiki and a lovely crumbly cheese, not feta, donât actually know what it was called, but it was fantastic). They were happy to tell us what we were going to get for free, so that we could then adjust our order accordingly. I hate it when they give you things that youâve ordered, or you expect things that you didnât order and then donât get. Anyway, on top of the freebies we had hummus to share, then chicken shish for me, and lamb chops for my husband. They came with tomato, peppers, the most fantastic salad, and rice for him. I was offered Bulgar wheat or quinoa but I asked for extra salad instead and thatâs exactly what I got: the most delicious pile of fragrant, fresh, very very lightly dressed, crunchy salad. The very helpful waitress recommended a Turkish red wine, again no idea what it was called, but it was fantastic. And the best bit of all was it costs 60 quid in total. What a fantastic place, highly recommended.

The kebabs are the best I've ever had, non greasy, tasty with lovely fresh salad. The delivery drivers are always pleasant and on time.
We used to get our kebabs from another shop whom we considered the best in Felixstowe. However, we thought that we would give Felixstowe Grill a try. Their kebabs are so much better and the quarter pound cheeseburger was delicious. We will definitely eat here again.
