I've tried this place only once so maybe I'll give another chance and I'll change my idea but the only two positive things that I've found was the waiter Joy - very polite- and the cheesecake -very very tasty! The waitress at the entry was very unkind and sourpuss, the location needs to be renovated: Belle Ãpoque lamps or similar, IKEA chandelier and wood benches all together... what's the possible reason? I really believe that when you go out for a dinner, you don't go only for eating but also for an experience! Food was average, not so good and not so bad.

A small, informal place located right across from the Oakland Community College. You order at the cashier and sit down. Most entrees are between $7 and $13. Most appetizers below that price.Good flavor. Curry dishes space even if you request mild.Tried the fried rice with veggies, the trio (chicken, beef, shrimp) and a coconut curry seafood dish. Good all of them, not excellent.

I know it doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that keep you away! Very welcoming staff and amazingly fresh food! The fresh rolls are large, fresh and stuffed with tons of fresh veg and chicken (they can be ordered vegetarian as well) and are big enough for a meal on their own!A nice selection of main courses are offered without going overboard - which means its all made fresh to order. As a bonus, the owner/chef - Penn - came out to talk to us and see how we liked everything. If you like fresh Thai food - this fits the bill perfectly!

I have been eating here at SIAM Spicy Thai & Oriental, 29838 Woodward Ave just South of Webster Road, here in Royal Oak, Michigan, for decades. Traditionally it has always been a favorite of mine. And one meal that is average should not change my overall attitude but my Pad Thai was just that, down the middle of the road average. When I ordered my Pad Thai I asked for number 5 the hottest spice rating. I think the chef does not understand what SPICY means. I live in Asia most of the year and maybe the locals think luke-warm-spicy is SPICY. The poor chef must be thinking that IF my meal was SPICY to the standards of Asia and Thailand they would not have any customers. Nonetheless, for me, this review of this meal rates just average.
