Visited this place and was pleasantly surprised to see that Andre from his previous restaurant near Hurst was running this one. He came and greeted us and we recognized each other from a couple of years before when we visited his other restaurant.Food was excellent; we had the Musselman curry, green Curry and the Papaya Salad. Each dish had a unique flavor which is not easy to find in Thai restaurants these days. Andre's personal touch makes it that much more a better experience. A true gem as a hole in the wall restaurant. Keep up the good work Andre; and best of luck

Muang Lao Cuisine has changed the name to be BOUN BISTRO. We still serve the old menu but in the better quality and more items added. We do delivery as well, within 5 miles from the restaurant with the delivery charge $2, call in or order online through G
I had to go out of my way to deliver something to a friend and was with a couple of my kids. We had talked about going out for Thai, but we were nowhere near the restaurant we had planned to eat at. I pulled up Google maps and got directions to the nearest Thai place, Muang Lao Cuisine. Fate did us a favor. The food was absolutely amazing! I haven't really had great Thai food since we left the Atlanta area and this is great Thai food. The Laotian/Thai fusion is amazing. I had a red fish which was cleaned, lightly battered and fried whole. The fish was served standing up on a plate with vegetables and a sweet and spicy chili sauce. The fish was so tender, it just fell off. It was much easier to eat with chopsticks than a fork. Everything we had was amazing, but this fish special is one of the best I have ever had. I also have to mention the service. We came in just about 40 minutes before closing. Our service was friendly and with no rush. The food was delivered quickly and the waitress was really nice. We were asked about dessert and left the restaurant after closing time. I couldn't have had a more enjoyable dinner.
Even though the foods were rated mild to spicy, it is possible to request more or less heat when you order. We tried a chicken with rice dish and a chicken with noodles dish. Both were good, but I recommend the medium level of heat, which was not much. We also tried the angel wings, which were not to our liking, mainly because it described the food as boneless chicken wings and it had a bone on one end and skin wrapped around it. The two chicken dishes, however, were made with white chicken meat and were very good.
