Perfect location, good vibe, reputation, very friendly staff. Nothing I say can however help this place achieve the main goal of restaurant and that is tasteful meal. I have visited steakhouse several times, each time trying a different meal and each time leaving the place terribly disappointed. First I tried local delicacy "reindeer" steak. The meat was flavorless, uninspiring with almost no side dish at all to save it.For those of you who have never tasted it, let me tell you that reindeer meat is one of the finest you can find anywhere, especially delicious as (so called Suovas). Next time I tried Hamburgar knowing how bad the steak was and thinking that it is impossible to spoil such an easy meal. But they did it. it was greasy, fries were hard, vegetable non-existing a sauce plain. For the last visit I chose an arctic char - one of the best fish around, but sure thing it was absolutely unseasoned with bland side dish. Having said that it is simple to see that I will not return and nor do I recommend it.

Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and hey tonight live music and open until 1 am! Also it has Swedish real ale ( bulldog) bottled. The supposed flagship venue in Gallivare, the Quality hotel Lapland has nothing like this range, despite the hotel's glitz. If like me, you are a tourist stuck in Gallivare without a car for some days, then check it out!!

I have visited this restaurant with my colleges just before Christmas to experience traditional Swedish "Julbord" - kind of buffet style dinner. The place was inviting greeting all the guests in entrance with warm mulled wine. Decoration was typical Swedish minimalism that somehow manages to created great ambiance. And as the main star of the evening was large selection of cured salmons, herrings, hams and salamis and few typical Swedish warm meals. Everything felt fresh and the tables were replenished regularly. The only drawback that I can mention was a bit noisiness because of too many people.I cant wait to visit this place next Christmas again.

Just to let you know: this brasserie is located half-inside a DIY store. We did not eat or drink anything there, but I think it is good that you know about this before you decide to visit. We were looking for a place to dine when visiting Gallivare and at first wanted to eat here. The lady at the hotel looked quite puzzled when we asked her about it and we understood when we arrived here why.
