Find out what Sushi restaurants to try in Vancouver. Steeped in history, Vancouver is the oldest city in Washington. Once the largest western outpost of the British Hudson's Bay Company, where supplies and food were bartered in the 1800s, it was closed in 1860 as Americans took over commerce. The outpost was later recreated as the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. For more history, check out the Pearson Air Field, the oldest operating airfield in the West, where vintage aircraft are displayed at the Pearson Air Museum. If adventure is your bag, Vancouver is the perfect base for day trips to the Columbia River Gorge, the breathtakingly beautiful 70-mile river stretch that cuts through the Cascade Mountains, or Mount St. Helens, the site of the famous volcano, both of which offer a slew of outdoor activities. For calmer pastimes, cruise the picturesque river in the Columbia Gorge riverboat, or visit Beacon Rock, the world's second largest monolith, where a walking trail leads to spectacular panoramic views.

At Tommy O's Pacific Rim Bistro, the vibrant, rich flavors of the cultures that compose the Pacific Ring of Fire serve as the inspiration behind our fresh and flavorful fare. One of the best Happy Hour and Weekend Brunch destinations in Vancouver we also
Nice surprise. We had planned on another restaurant on Labor Day, but they were out of food...hahaha.We passed by Tommy O and decided to give it a go. They were under staffed, hadnt expected a crowd so service was a bit slow, but they were gracious and apologetic and brought out wonderful hot food. The food was fantastic, we were quite impressed.

On Sunday, September 22, my family and I visited the Orquidea Tahi restaurant and waited around 10 minutes to be attend, we ordered our drinks and when the waiter returned we told him that we were ready to order our food, but we also told him that he had forgotten a drink, to which he apologized. We waited for about 25 minutes and asked him if the food will take longer, he would go to see. They returned with my wife's meal and mine and the waiter left and we thought he would bring the rest of our food, we waited 10 minutes, in that journey the waitress bring us food that we had not ordered, my son called the waiter to ask him where his food was which he said he had forgotten, my son told him not to worry anymore and to give us the check. Before the waiter came back they bring to my son two drinks that he had not ordered, when the waiter returned with the bill we were surprised because he charged us all the full order,we asked him to call the manager. The very friendly manager apologized and took away what we had charged extra and a 50% discount. I want to clarify that it is a good restaurant but it really was a very bad experience, I will not be returning for a long time.

This restaurant is just off the highway where you would expect mediocre food but the food here was delicious and quickly and expertly prepared. Very friendly staff and excellent service. There is no alternative to sushi however so all in the party must want that. Lunch specials are not available on Saturday or Sunday and the food is pricey.

To my knowledge, this restaurant is probably by far the best Chinese restaurant in Vancouver, WA. My mom and I went to there to have a dinner with my kids and their families including her two great grandsons. All dishes were delicious and the price is reasonable. Everyone enjoyed the yummy Chinese foods and had a great time prior to Michaelâs wedding next day. The most important thing is to have all kids, especially two great grandsons to have a nice dinner with my mom.
