Located in Sao Pedro de Sintra in Portugal, Harko's Restaurant is a modern and cozy space where you will find the best of Japanese cuisine! We welcome all to try our special dishes :-)
It is the best sushi one ask for away from Japan. Service is good and staff is friendly. We live in Sintra so visit quite often. Notwithstanding 5 stars I just gave Harkoâs for food and service please do something about the ambience - the dinning room is quite cold (literally and metaphorically), there is no music so if you happen to come out of busy hours you sit in the total silence - that is why, at times, we prefer to take your fantastic sushi home.

Small modern looking restaurant. Quite some staff who extensively welcome you. You can choose between what they call seven or nine moments plus a la carte. We chose seven moments. Extensive wine and sakeh list with quite some expensive sakehs and wines. Very knowledgeable sommelier. The dinner is simply of exquisite quality. Many small dishes of great tastes and combination of taste explosions. Presentation of the dishes is beautiful. It is very Japanese with some small Portuguese additions. No doubt whatsoever Michelin star quality. Price worthy. Service is friendly and professional.
