It was a delight to eat in this Japanese restaurant in a neighborhood, away from many people one usually finds in a mall. It is a cozy homey restaurant. We decided to eat outside because the neighborhood had a brownout. The food is delicious and authentic. It took some time to be served because I think the food is made to order. The taste and servings are so satisfying that I will come back and recommend to my friends who love Japanese food. The Oedo maki, chicken teriyaki, salmon sashimi and okonomiyaki are so savory. It was a disappointed that the clams were not available. Strangely, you need to ask for the official receipt. Parking is limited so it is better to come early.

The buffet spread was sumptuous (Chinese, Korean, American, Thai, Filipino), but I couldn't get to my favorite dishes fast enough and I was always confronted by empty plates. It was disappointing - much like when you have to queue up at your favorite food station in Vikings and still go back to your table empty-handed.But the best part of spending my birthday here was not those fancy food - it was their brownies! They were so yummy that I wanted to suggest to the management to open a bakeshop too for take away dessert. Their brownies are to die for! And since the diners were not really on the lookout for the lowly brownies in a sea of roasts, sushi, pasta, etc., I got to satisfy my sweet tooth to the max!Couple that with the very professional and considerate service of the staff in their Glorietta branch - I didn't have my ID with me at that time and they needed that to verify that it was really my birthday so they could give me the freebie. Think I just showed them a prescription from my doctor with my name and birthday on it - and they honored it. Best birthday ever!Good job Dad's! Whenever an eat all you can trip is planned I always recommend Dad's - it never disappoints.

Tired and hungry after a night out for holy mass and last minute post-Christmas grocery shopping, the kids wanted a Japanese meal. The closest Japanese restaurant to Rustans Supermarket is Omakase which is at the same establishment, Il Terrazzo at Tomas Morato corner Scout Madrinan. The place was full even at 9pm but the service was quick. It was a bit warm due to the place being packed with diners. Luckily we got to transfer to the table near the entrance which was much cooler than the initial table we got way inside the restaurant. We ordered tenzaru soba, california maki, tempura and torikatsu - all great and fast Japanese food. Parking is ample at the basement and service crew members are quite thoughtful of customers
