This is a local restaurant in my neighborhood, and we usually get the sushi as take-out. However, whenever I go to any other sushi restaurant, even the fancy ones, the sushi is never as fresh and good as at Sushi Kuu. I would consider this the best sushi restaurant in the area.

This restaurant has such an extensive menu that there's something for everyone( which is one of the reasons my wife's company often has office lunches there.)I started off our lunch with Wonton soup ( hot and delicious on a cold day ) my wifehad Miso soup which she also enjoyed. For an entree I had Pork Mixed Vegetables(sliced pork with red peppers, broccoli, zucchini ( i think ) all nice and crunchy.)My wife had Shrimp Mango Passion ( fresh, large shrimp and mangos ) which she enjoyed, but I guess I'm not much for mangos because they had a rather bland taste.) For dessert we shared Muchi Red Bean Ice Cream which seems to besome sort of gelatin outer covering with an ice cream center. A little unusual mouthfeel (having a warm outer cover and cold vanilla center) but very tasty. Service wasexcellent, friendly and efficient. They also have the best green tea I've hadanywhere.

Took our daughter to Sakura Hibachi Steakhouse for her graduation dinner and was very pleased with the food. The chef was an elderly man who was very funny and entertaining at the same time. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. That was my first time there. Will go back.

A colleague of mine ordered take-out for our group. the Wasabi Bistro offers sushi,, wok dishes and hibachi. For $8,50 she received a vegetable hibachi, soup, salad, rice and noodles. She was really pleased with the flavors and portion size. The rest of us ordered the wok mango chicken, miso soup, spicy salmon roll and wasabi rolls. The order was ready when I arrived to pick it up which is appreciated with what always seems like a short lunch. You order online from GRUBHUB. They also offer delivery and if you wish there are about 10 tables in a rather small eating area. It is BYOB. The menu is extensive but what really impressed me was the professional preparation and presentation of the sushi. The chief is a real master.
