A very elegant restaurant located in Hamburg top hotel Vier Jahreszeiten. The food was quite good, a bit overpriced though, and two glasses of champagne to start with, Ruinart Rosé, was definitely overpriced! 24â¬/glass..! But what really made the evening less enjoyable was the service... Our waitress was annoyingly pushy when it came to selling not very generously poured wine, constantly all over us!

We visiter the place 2 days in a row, because of it´s excellent food and atmosphere. At the second day, we all got tuna, wich we should cook ourselves on a hot stone. It was fantastic. The service personal was extremely kind and servicedminded.

I visited this Japanese restaurant on a trip to Hamburg, Germany in October 2017.My sister and her family had visited on a previous occasion and raved all about it on their return.I had visited the upmarket parent restaurant - Henssler & Henssler on a previous trip and I was even more blown away by this one.The location is in the trendy and upscale leafy neighbourhood of Eppendorfer, literally 7 minutes walk from my sister's residence. You do need to make a reservation and ensure you book well in advance. Smart casual dress code is advised. We visited on a cold and wet Thursday evening in autumn and were immediately seated in the warm, packed restaurant.Having already experienced the delicacies, my brother-in-law ordered for everyone and I sure wasn't disappointed. He ordered every dish from the main (Duck breast, Rumpsteak, Yellowfin tuna, Black cod and Rib-eye steak), nigiri and sashimi. The food was beautifully and artistically presented. Wow... was I totally blown away by the flavours, taste and texture of every morsel I ate. The black cod was exceptional and worth mentioning.Dessert was a smorgasbord of intense flavours that all came together nicely.ONO is a hidden gem and it should be celebrated for all its worth.
