This small restaurant with a Japanese cook Kazuyo and her Italian husband Simone, an oenologist, offers an excellent mix of the best products out of two culinary traditions. Fish and crustaceans, caught in the morning, are served the very day. We go there quite often since several years and we were always extremely satisfied. The choice of the wine, we can leave it with confidence to Simone. His selection exceeds the borders of Tuscany.

This sushi house is excellent. Food is imaginative and very tasty, especially the delicately fried prawns. Only flaw is service while not bad is just not very friendly, hence only 4 star. Beers are great!!

We came for the âAll you can eatâ lunch option. Service was friendly and fast. Food came quickly, was freshly prepared and tasted great. Is this a helpful review? Then please give me a "Thumbs up Thank FrankGeisler" by clicking the button below.

This is the second-worst Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at in 25 years of eating Chinese (there was that one place in Belgium...), and having lived and worked with Chinese people I can claim to know a fair bit about both food and culture. Chinese restaurants are perfectly capable of cooking food without meat. This restaurant simply didn't want to. What we finally managed to negotiate after a lot of huffing and puffing from the very unfriendly waitress (with hindsight, we should have left straight away) was two "sweet and sour soups" consisting of egg, water, and withered mushrooms. We had ordered curried vegetables with rice as the main course, but this showed up together with the soups, rendering it semi-cold by the time we started eating it. The rice was clumped up together (absolute basics which even I can get right at home!) and the vegetables were some beansprouts with interspersed shredded carrots and the same withered mushrooms as in the soup. We took a few bites and left the rest. We then went across the road to Il Gottino, a lovely Italian place, for some proper dinner.I have the feeling that the good folks of Cecina don't know Chinese food yet, and how could they? This place is the only one in a 30km radius of the town, which explains why people still pay for this substandard food and terrible service, thinking it perhaps to be usual. Wise up, folks! Vegetarians can forget the place completely. Locals, better Chinese food is available! The service and the food need serious improvement!
