Been going here for years and haven't never been disappointed. The wife had Japanese this time, rice and Yakanu (beef strips). I had the Street Tacos, Carne Asada and Carnitas. Both meals were excellent. The service was good, friendly and quick. There was a minor issue with part of our order. But that was quickly taken care of. The prices are reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. We ended up taking some home for an evening snack. It's nice to have Wasabi here in a town full of fast food places. It's our "go to" place. We have tried most of the menu and recommend all of it. Only thing missing, they do not serve alcohol, so no Margaritas.

Excellent place to eat. The huge buffet has a very nice selection and the food well prepared. Very nice mongolian bar. The staff is very friendly and attentive. For the price, selection, and food preparation you can't beat this place. Highly recommend.

Also a Sushi bar
This is an unassuming little place in a strip of shops that includes a Goodwill and a lawn and Garden store. No Hibachi grill tables, but did have a tiny sushi bar. Hubby had the grilled snapper with veggies and I had strip steak with veggies. Everything prepared well. Large helpings. My steak was so tender and cooked exactly to order. Salad with traditional Japanese ginger dressing was so fresh and the dressing was some of the best I've had. Miso soup was just the right temperature and very tasty. Our server was very knowledgeable and kind. I've eaten at quite a few Japanese style restaurants other places and I think Somerset is lucky to have this kind of quality.
At one time, this was a really good restaurant. Food was really good, service was excellent and sushi was top notch. Not sure what happened but the number one server and manager left and took the only one other good server they had. After that, it has become a bit chaotic. My very last visit was this past Saturday night. You can tell there has been a change in the quality of service because it is no longer, what I call, Family Friendly. The restaurant has tv screens in a few locations and they had an MTV show on called "Ridiculousness". This is not a show for family and certainly not for children. It's quite offensive especially during dinner time. I could tell several of the patrons were visibly upset by the show but the servers or manager never attempted to turn the tv to Disney channel...a channel that the tv's were typically turned to.The sushi wasn't fresh, or at least it didn't taste so. The Teriyaki bento dinner box was almost an imposter because you couldn't really tell there was any teriyaki sauce on it...the tempura veggies didn't have any sauce....well, I could go on...There were also about 5 new servers. That is always a red flag to me. Why so many new servers? It's not because they were busy...it's because many of the former ones had quit. And the food quality and service obviously suffered.
