Reviews on Steakhouse food in Teruel, Province of Teruel, Spain. Teruel (Spanish pronunciation: [teˈɾwel]) is a city in Aragon, located in eastern Spain, and is also the capital of Teruel Province. It has a population of 35,675 in 2014 making it the least populated provincial capital in the country. It is noted for its harsh climate, with a very big daily variation on temperatures and its renowned jamón serrano (cured ham), its pottery, its surrounding archaeological sites, rock outcrops containing some of the oldest dinosaur remains of the Iberian Peninsula, and its famous events: La Vaquilla del Ángel during the weekend closer more to the 10th July (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday), and "Bodas de Isabel de Segura" around the third weekend of February.

Dear clients, the Restaurant will be closed for holidays from January 12, 2017 until February 9, 2017. Sorry for the inconvenience!
I have no higher praise to give than I do to this restaurant. It has truly great local aragonese cuisine (with certain Argentinian twists) - many cooked on an open fire in the centre of the restaurant - and impeccable, friendly service. The owner/proprietor mingles with guests and helps select the perfect dishes and wines. No trip to Teruel is complete without a trip to this restaurant.

VERY polite and friendly service. The menu for 55 guys was great. Lamb shank VERY tender. But when a party of 30 Spanish arrived the noise level raised to an unbearable level as their small Children was left in their own corner without supervision from their parents. Not the restaurants fault.

Enjoyed several reasonable meals at Asador la Vaquilla, good quality meats barbecued over hot coals. Restaurant has recently been refurbished, hopefully also attending to the air conditioning which failed in early summer this year. Although recommended, not the best Argentinean Barbecue in Teruel; in my opinion La Bella Neda is the place to go.

Steaks cooked direct from fridge, after cooking not rested, resulting in tough inedible steaks, my wife was unable to cut her medium cooked steak, no comment made by staff as to why 80% of her steak was not eaten.Dear CustomerThank you for your comments that help us to improve.Do not hesitate to take note of all of them.Adolfo Ibañez.
