The building, room, table service, just right music and server were all terrific! Everything was well prepared and warm. Don't make the mistake I did take only the number of servings you may finish while they stay warm to hot. You may go back as often as you like and the used plates are removed quickly and clean plates are left on your table. So what I am saying choose a few foods at a time the flavors and texture are better warm to hot.

We live in Hampton and usually visit the Newport News location weekly. Love Roadhouse food but have grown so tired of their very small parking lot. So we decided to venture through the tunnel to this location. Big mistake. This location was simply not anywhere near what we are accustomed to with the Newport News location. Started with no bread ready so the hostess states she will bring us fresh bread when it comes up. Do we get any? no. As she continues to walk right by us seating others, with bread in hand, doesn't even glance our way. Try to flag her down and she just keeps walking. Finally our server comes over and takes drink orders. Ask her for bread. Brings the drinks and is there bread? Nope! Seven minutes go by and she comes with bread and asks if we are ready to order. Well duh. Food comes out in a timely manner and one of the steaks comes out medium when asked for well done. A manager comes by and she gets a new one re-fired along with a fresh baked potato. Then we order two to go meals. Ask for rolls for both of them. Shame on us for not checking the bag cause there were no rolls in either when we got home. Also she drops off the to go orders along with the checks and immediately walks away. Arrives 6 minutes later and takes our credit cards. Stays gone another 9 minutes. Yes nine minutes. So now our to go orders have been sitting on the table for 15 minutes getting cold. It was just the topper to the terrible and slow service we received from "Jay". We watched many people be seated after us and leave before us. We will not be back to this location. I guess it's back to the frustrating parking lot at Newport News.

Called down and spoke to restaurant staff prior to dining in the restaurant. Ordered our food and I expressly told them no sauces or seasonings on my food due to allergies. They guaranteed no problem prior to eating and when we arrived. Well, my food came out with sauce all over the chicken. I sent it back and in five minutes my chicken was sent back to the table!!! All they did was wash it off and put it back on the plate. Really????? Needless to say by that time I was totally frustrated and did not trust them to prepare any other meal for me again and did not eat.Husbands meal was ok.
