Reviews on Steakhouse food in St. George, Utah, United States. St. George is central to some of the most dramatic natural beauty in the American West, from the Mojave Desert to Zion National Park and the Pine Valley Mountains. While its summers are hot, St. George's mild and largely snow-free winters make it popular with golfers, hikers and bikers. In fact, Brigham Young wintered here – his home in town is open to the public.

Serving the Best Babyback Ribs, Certified Angus Beef Steaks & Premium Seafood in the West. We have something for everyone! Homemade soups, pasta, salads, sandwiches, pot roast, and even Cajun dishes as our influence is from Louisiana!
We stayed at Fairfield Inn accross the street and based on reviews walked and were promptly seated. The waitress Shannon was very gracious and efficient and took good care of us. We had fried chicken, and the red snapper and all enjoyed our meal. They do serve liquor here and prices were reasonable for drink and food. The staff were everpresent and kept the tables cleaned and reset. If you are in St George do try it.

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
As far as chain, everyday "steakhouses" go, this Texas Roadhouse is among the better ones, as evidenced by the dinner crowds. Yeah, it's a touristy town but there sure were a lot of locals. The best things on the menu are the steaks and ribs. The sides seem to be really good or not so good, depending on the choices. But, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. I see some complaints about service, but after two dinner visits under crowded conditions, I'd say our servers did pretty well. On different nights I had sirloin and New York steaks. Both were cooked the way I ordered and were very good (not Ruth's Chris good, of course), especially for someone that doesn't get much enjoyment from pricier steaks. I poached some of my wife's ribs, so I'll vouch for them, too. I liked the baked potato but disliked the burnt tasting sauted mushrooms. The corn and broccoli were good as well. It's a busy, noisy place, so a quiet, romantic dinner is probably not on the menu.

Hot Rock Dining in an art gallery atmosphere. Our chef is constantly hand picking special steaks in addition to our menu to bring you the best steaks in southern Utah.
made reservations a week in advance and the table we were seated at was the only one that has the sun shining into your eyes as the awning isn't big enough to shade you (bad). Waiter acted like this was the first time the sun has ever shone and said he could not do anything about it (bad). We informed him that he could stand right there and block it from shining into my wife's only good eye. He then came up with a portable coatrack and placed it by my wife to block the sun (good). Service was "good" up until we were served our fondue appetizer. It had carrots, apple, stale bread cubes (good) celery and broccoli (bad). Before we ate our first bite we were served our dinner salad (bad). Steak (ribeye) was served on a hot rock. It had been cooked a little on one side and flipped before serving at table. I like my beef somewhere between fighting me for my salad and medium rare. In about one minute I took my steak off the hot rock it was served on and it was cooked fine for me (good). It had been extremely over salted in the kitchen (bad) but not a bad steak. Wife had pork chop cooked in kitchen and it was very good. Hot rock is just a gimmick like other cook-it- yourself steak houses, teppanyaki Japanese, French flambé or Hawaiian luau. The difference is they all use trained cooks except the hot rock and other do-it-yourself steak houses. Looking around me there was no more than couple customers I would trust to cook my meal, but everyone was working at cooking theirs. After our entree, table was cleared for desert. We had dark chocolate fondue. It comes with marshmallows, strawberries, grapes, rice crispy cakes, pretzels (good), some apple diced smaller than the grapes (bad) and a wedge of cheesecake. They served only fondue forks with dessert and left you wondering how to eat cheesecake with a fondue fork (real bad). If I were to go here again, I would order the meat cooked on grill as they do have good cooks in the kitchen and avoid fondue. It reminded me why I threw out my fondue pots 30 years ago. The bill without drinks or tip was 95.00. Higher than prices shown in trip advisor (bad).

We love Outback but our visit to this location was terrible. Every part of our order was wrong, from the salads to the way the steaks were cooked and our empty coke glasses. Maybe they were having a off day but it was simply wrong from start to finish. To the managers credit he did attempt to make it right but was truly disappointed as we were looking forward to a nice steak dinner with the familyHello,This is not what we like to hear, your feedback means a lot to us and will be taken into consideration for the future. If youâd like to get in touch directly, please fill out our Contact Us form and we will reach back out: https://www.outback.com/contact Sincerely, NickOutback Steakhouse
