I had an 'executive' plate (rice, beans, meat/fish, fries and salad) for a reasonable price (around R$17). It was simple, but tasty. The place was very calm, since it is not located in the main street.

Just back from the World Cup. Cab driver recommended this restaurant. So glad he did!! The mixed grill was super and provided lots of food. The price was excellent making this not only a great meal but a great value. Simple place (no AC, silver wear mismatch, plastic chairs and tables etc: unpretentious), located basically where the taxi's drop you off but much better option than walking toward the water and paying 2-3 times as much for less food not as well prepared. Oh, and lots of sides to go with the meat. Highly recommended.
