I was immediately made to feel welcome and the staff displayed awareness of special dietary requirements. There was a good range of dishes to choose from and everything was well prepared and tasty. It's a little pricey but worth the extra money for the quality.

I was travelling around Spain last September and I must confess in this restaurant I've tasted the best Spanish omelet ever! Actually it is famous for it and also for its lamb, roasted in a wood fire oven they have in the kitchen. There is also a wide variety of Spanish wines to be enjoyed. Finally, the desserts combine tradition and innovation and they are delicious. The atmosphere is nice, the dining room is really cozy, and the service is efficient. Definitely it's the best choice in Palencia and surroundings. Really recommended!I'm looking forward to come back again!

Estuvimos el fin de semana comiendo 6 amigos, el comedor de la entrada en bonito. Tienen un menú de fin de semana de 22 euros, que costa de varios primeros, segundos y postres e incluye vino y agua, el café aparte. Nosotros pedimos sopas castellanas, hechas en horno con costra, estaban riquisimas, timbal de pescado y marisco tambien muy bueno y otros pidieron ensalada de escabeches de carne, que tambien estaban ricas. De segundos unos pidieron bacalao al pipil, cordero a la sefardi, carrilleras al vino todos quedamos encantados. De postres algunos flan, tarta de queso, espuma de arroz con leche, helado y contesa. La verdad que quedamos encantados. Nos han dicho que el lechazo asado al horno lo preparan muy bien. Luego teniamos concertada una visita guiada en la San Pedro, que merece la pena verlo.

Estuvimos tomando alguna caña. Tienen el detalle de acompañar cada caña con un platito de gambas cocidas. La especialidad son las carnes. Las piezas que vi tenÃan buena pinta. Habrá que probar en otra ocasión.
