Historically in the parish of Dalziel and part of Lanarkshire, Motherwell is the headquarters for North Lanarkshire Council. Geographically the River Clyde separates Motherwell from Hamilton to the west whereas the South Calder Water separates Motherwell from Carfin to the north-east and New Stevenston and Bellshill towards the north. Motherwell is also geographically close to Wishaw to the south-east.

Had a lovely meal in here last week ,was meeting a friend for dinner so thought its ideal for both of us just off the motorway,We had burgers off the day menu and they were fab! So tasty and filling. Place is decorated lovely and the staff were really welcoming ..id defently recomend this place good prices aswell and the service was great had a lovely lady called karen serve us ,she was very chatty and interested asking us about our day! Nice to get some friendly service. will be back

The function room shares a bar with the public bar which people in the public bar can see into the function room and can just walk into a private function through a door from the bar area which I dont think is a good idea.

We as a family went to Cut on Sunday the 13th had a great experience from arrival to leaving. Menu was superb with the fresh oysters to the fabulous medium rare T bone steak. We all enjoyed the food and wine, the attentive staff and looked after by Gary. Would highly recommend for an occasional family party.

Visited with family, always lives upto expectations. Portion sizes are great. Had the mixed pakora starter, would recommend it, the dipping sauce is great. Great value for money, 6 of us, less than £100 and that included drinks.
