This restaurant is near our home in San Romano. We have eaten here at dinner and lunch several times in the past couple of years. The food is excellent and plentiful. Service is tops. They speak some English and do their best to serve you with a smile. The house white wine is excellent. Many locals eat here as well to is is not just a tourist place. The hotel looks inviting although I have never stayed here since we live only ten minutes away. Great walking trails and Garfagnana sights all around. Beautiful view from the restaurant and hotel.

If you have the chance to eat at La Ruota you will not regret it. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and the view over Massa is beautiful! A lovely family run business.

The place is fool of character! Nicely decorated and the staff is fantastic. No menu as they only serve beef. Nice list of vines to choose from. The most delicious beef I have ever tried in the restaurant !!! Highly recommend to all meat lovers. Book your table as it's very popular

Excellent service and genuine smiles towards customers. Honestly we did not know what to expect, but the food and awesome service kept on coming, the staff and owner showed a genuine respect for our business and satisfaction, we did go back 3 times in my week long stay in Carrara......Please do note that this is a primarily steak house specialty in Tuscany beef and products....prices are well within budget concious limits as well....excellent selection of Tuscany wines to pair with your meals....
