This would have to be one of the best steakhouses that I have been too. I visited the museum back in 2015, but didnât get the pleasure of dining at this amazing restaurant. But coming back with my wife, I couldnât resist to treat her tonight to the restaurant and tomorrow, she is going to beside herself at the pleasure of visiting the Porsche Museum. Being a porsche fan, there was no way I was missing out this time around. But firstly, letâs not get ahead of ourselves and focus on the dinner tonight. We have hired a 2018 Panamera 4 E-Hybrid to get around, so why not start the night off parking in Porche Heaven (aka: the garage below the restaurant), only to drool over the multiple Porsches models all parked there. The staff are friendly, very attentive service and as soon as you sit, you are great with a trolley carting various champagnes and wines to start you off. The menu has something for everyone even if you are a vegetarian in one of the best steakhouses in Europe. Once we had ordered, the waiter delivered a nice surprise for us, a complimentary appetizer of Venison with an onion and apple chutney. For the entree, I went with the clear Tomato soup with Parmesan Ravioli, whilst my wife went with the more safer, Chicken Caesar salad. Being famous for their oversized USA beef steaks, we both had to have steak. When we were about to order the steaks, the waiter comes out with the selection of the various cuts of steak to explain to us each style etc. which makes it easier to choose when you can see what youâll be eating. I went with the 600gm Prime Rib whilst stacey was more delicate in having the 250gm Ladyâs cut Sirloin Strip. The sommelier recommended a cracker local Shiraz wine, which surprised me with the flavours and complimented my steak perfectly. We ordered too much food that we couldnât do dessert but that didnât stop them bring out complimentary mini tasting desserts of tarts, macaroons and cakes. Too sum up, Christophorus is hands down the best steakhouse in Stuttgart! The service is impeccable, the staff knowledgeable, and the food is flavorsome and amazing. Tomorrow we will visit the Museum.

We went there after checking restaurants nearby out location and we were not disappointed. There were not many pictures or reviews on this restaurant as it's a relatively new one, but the reviews should start coming. The staff is very friendly and they all speak English, German and Spanish. The food is great and keeping up with the Argentine-style cuisine. The steak was great and the empanadas as starters were too. We didn't have desert though. The prices are also reasonable, definetly recommend visiting.

My wife and I had dinner at El Camino. The staff was excellent. They have an English menu and speak perfect English. Our server was very efficient and friendly. The salads were wonderful. Greens were crisp and fresh. We tried the seafood risotto and the small size grilled kebabs. Both were excellent. The meat was cooked perfectly as requested. The seafood in the risotto was also not overcooked. The small size kebab was plenty to eat. Food prices are quite reasonable given the quality and quantity of food. They don't have a very extensive wine list, but they do have a selection of Spanish, Italian, and Argentine reds and the prices are reasonable. They do have a pretty extensive menu of other alcoholic beverages. The restuarant is exceedingly clean and nicely decorated. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

If you know anything from my previous posts. I love my steaks. Finding a restaurant that can cook a good steak is one thing. Finding a steakhouse that has good meat is another. Finding one that can combine the two. Well let's just say I don't believe in Unicorns. Tonight we decided to try another steakhouse. As usual I was a bit skeptical. One it was in a hotel and two I've only had one passable steak here in Stuttgart. So off to yet another adventure. We made our reservations and arrived at our prescribed time. We were seated promptly which is always a plus. Once seated we received our menus and asked for out drink orders a bit too quickly, but at least from the outset they were attentive. As a start, we ordered Caesar salads. So not what I expected as the salads were made with Iceberg lettuce instead of Romaine. The lettuce was a bit too cold and there wasn't enough Parmesan. Fresh black pepper would have been nice, but they did have a pepper mill on the table. The two types of bread served with the salads were nice and fresh, which was a nice touch. We ordered a bottle of 2013 Malbec with dinner. It was a bit young and could have used a good breathing in a carafe, but all in all once it breathed a bit, it was nice.We ordered for the mains: The King and Queen New York Strips and the Lamb. So I was a bit skeptical of cooking meat on a hot stone, but it does have its advantages. You are able to control the temperature of the meat. The steaks were organic. Big pluses for that I have to admit. The steaks were of very good quality. Now for the but. The cuts of meat are seared off before being placed on the stone to be finished tableside. The only problem I had was the steaks were neither trimmed correctly nor the fat rendered off prior to service. Once tableside you need to personally trim them and sear the fat off, but the stones were hot enough to do that. Eating the steaks was interesting as it was more like slicing, cooking and eating. Part of the experience which wasn't exactly bad. The other sides were steak fries (all you can eat). The three dipping sauces were not spectacular. A BBQ, horseradish and Chimichurri. The Chimichurri could have been better, but it was a good attempt. The lamb was very very nice and believe it or not, cooking it on the stone added something too it. As with the steaks, controlling the temperature with a hot stone does make a difference. All in all the dining experience was pretty good and a pleasant surprise. It looks like I might have found someplace to get a good piece of beef here in Stuttgart.
