We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary by having dinner here. It was the perfect place with a perfect dinner. I had the seasonal salad which had arugula, sliced peaches, bacon, goat cheese crumbles, served with peach vinaigrette dressing...delicious. For our entrees, my husband had the 8 oz sirloin steak with whipped gold potatoes and braised green beans, and I had the chicken breast with baked mac n cheese and braised green beans. Both entrees were served to perfection. We selected the Chophouse brownie sundae served with vanilla bean ice cream for our dessert. The chef wrote âHappy Anniversaryâ across the plate in chocolate to finish off a wonderful celebration. They have very little parking but do have valet parking, and our car was there waiting for us when we left the restaurant. We were surprised to find such an elegant restaurant in Harrisonburg and were delighted we were able to have our special anniversary dinner here. I would definitely go back and highly recommend this restaurant, especially for special occasions.

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margar
First time to visit this specific location. I was greeted by the traditional friendly staff, asked the same typical questions and was seated right away. I ordered the filet steak and ribs. The salad was enjoyable as usual, the steak and the ribs were not as tasty as I remember for some reason. The steak was tender, but lacked flavor. The ribs were a tad dry and lacked flavor as well. Not sure what happened on this visit. My dessert was apple pie with vanilla ice cream, but it had some type of chocolate or caramel sauce on it. The sauce texture was unpleasant due to heat from pie and cold from ice cream. It was like one long piece of string cheese that was difficult to chew. I will give them another try, but this location's quality of food is not up to Texas Roadhouse standards if you ask my taste buds. Not sure why.

We are a small dinner-only family-run restaurant, and pride ourselves on great food and friendly service in a casual tavern atmosphere. The Blue Stone Inn dates from the 1920's and has been owned and operated by the same family since 1949.
I ate here for the first time tonight and it was busy but the food came out at a good rate. The servers were pleasant and attended us well. The steamed shrimp were very good, the hush puppies had a good flavor, and the seafood in general was very good. I was disappointed in the selections of sides and soups but it wasn't that bad. However the ribeyes and filet mignon lacked flavor. I'm the type that if I have to put steak sauce on my steak then it is not a good steak and I had to use A1 on every bite. In comparison I ate at the Texas Roadhouse a day earlier and ordered a ribeye there and it was delicious. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Texas Roadhouse Steak was a 10 and the steak at the Bluestone Inn was a 3 at best. I recommend more seasoning on the steak or an easy marinade such as Dales or Moore's marinade. It would be an investment well-received. My baked potato was fine as was the other side's for the most part. In my opinion this restaurant is a good seafood restaurant but not so much of a steak restaurant. I hope this review proves helpful. This restaurant has a unique feel and different decor and is mainly for locals as it is off the beaten path and away from the main city and we came here from a recommendation while we were traveling in the area. If I were to return I would stick to the seafood. Lastly, to end on a good note I also had a crab cake and it was delicious.Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. You are correct, we don't use a marinade for the steaks, and I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy them. Kind words for the seafood and the overall experience are appreciated!

Usually when we travel we avoid chain-restaurants but our first choice had and hour wait so we went to Outback. They were able to seat our group of 7 in about 20 minutes. The service was good and accommodated us when we asked for separate checks. The food was fine, neither great or bad. All in all a pleasant evening.
